Plasma (& why we use it in the clinic)

Plasma

Some of you who attend the clinic will be hearing me talk a lot about PLASMA.

What is it, why it is useful and how are we using it in the clinic?

One form of plasma that we commonly hear about is plasma as it relates to blood. While I love reading what’s in your blood via pathology reports and looking at your tongue, pulse etc for physical signs, the type of plasma I’m referring to is the one relating to physics and astronomy.

In physics, plasma is described as the ‘Fourth state of matter’, distinct from solids, liquids and gasses. It is created by the transformation of gas via exposure to a strong electromagnetic field. Plasma is highly conductive and influenced by magnetic fields.

The sun the stars and the Aurora’s are composed of plasma.

In the element theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, plasma is described as ether.

On Earth, a concentrated form of plasma is lightning.

In the clinic, we are using Cold Atmospheric plasma (CAP), which is plasma generated at room temperature.

This is emerging as a powerful tool in:

  • Wound healing: CAP can accelerate tissue repair by stimulating cell migration and proliferation. CAP generates Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen species (RONS) at controlled levels which can trigger healing without causing thermal damage to the surrounding tissue.
  • Antimicrobial treatment: One of plasma’s most promising medical applications is its ability to kill bacteria, fungi, and even viruses on contact. The RONS produced by CAP disrupt microbial cell membranes without harming human tissue at the correct dose.
  • Stress Reduction: Our CAP plasma machine applies frequencies (just like wifi but good for you)
  • Cancer treatment: (This is an emerging field of research). Researchers have found that CAP can selectively induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells while leaving healthy cells largely intact. The oxidative stress created by plasma appears to exploit vulnerabilities specific to malignant cells.

For those who have tried our plasma sessions, I hear reports of feeling so peaceful or ‘What just happened?!’

In the clinic we are using plasma to assist with:

  • Heavy metal Detoxification
  • Acute gut symptoms: nausea and pain
  • Energy regulation
  • Wound healing
  • Headaches
  • Detox

We are offering an introductory special for those of you who are interested to try the benefits of plasma therapy.

  • Single session: 1hr $60 (normally $80)
  • 6 sessions: 1hr each $360 (normally $480)

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have queries.

Please note: Plasma therapy is not suitable for pregnant women or those with a pacemaker.
